📝 Practical tips:
How to get there: Kazachy Brod village, landmark — Trout Farm (Forelovaya Street). By car: along the highway towards Krasnaya Polyana until the sign for Kazachy Brod. By public transport: buses No. 105, 135 to the “Trout Farm” stop, then follow the signs on foot to the trailhead (about 10–15 minutes).
Comfort: the path is not permanently maintained and can be very slippery due to clay soil and moss, especially after rain. It is not recommended to walk in bad weather. Comfortable trekking shoes with a grippy sole and trekking poles for stability are required. Wear closed clothing, as thorns grow along the way.
Ethics: the gorge is part of the natural landscape; it is strictly forbidden to leave the marked trail, pick relict plants (including boxwood), litter, or make fires in the forest.
🗺️ Integration into the location: Nearby are the Trout Farm, Akhtyrskaya Cave, and SkyPark. It is convenient to build a rich one-day route from here: start with a trout tasting, walk along the Dzykhra Trail, and then head to the Psokh River canyons or the mountains of Krasnaya Polyana.
Opening hours: 24/7. Entry: free.
