Aibga Ridge

How to get there: the territory of the Rosa Khutor resort (Esto-Sadok settlement, Adler District). The ascent is made by cable car to the Rosa Peak station (2320 m) or the Stone Pillar station (2509 m). From Sochi, it is about 40–50 minutes by transport.
Footwear and clothing: even in summer, it is cold and windy at high altitude. A warm jacket, hat, gloves, and comfortable trekking shoes are essential. Sunglasses and sunscreen are necessary due to intense UV radiation.
Best time: clear weather without clouds and fog. Morning is preferable for stable weather. Check the webcams before ascending.
Safety: do not leave the marked trails, do not approach the edge of cliffs without railings. Keep an eye on children. During a thunderstorm or strong winds, cable car operations may be suspended.
